FINIS, Inc., a worldwide leader in technical swimming innovation, is very proud to announce the USA Swimming Foundation as an official recipient of the So More Can Swim initiative.

FINIS launched the So More Can Swim initiative in April 2015 as a social responsibility program to continue the vision of making swimming more enjoyable for every person in the world. Through So More Can Swim, FINIS donates a percentage of all goggle sales to nonprofit organizations. In its first 10 months, FINIS has donated to more than 50 organizations that are making swimming more accessible.

The USA Swimming Foundation is now the third official recipient of the So More Can Swim initiative, along with the Swimming Saves Lives Foundation of US Masters Swimming and Goggles For Guppies.

In 2007, the USA Swimming Foundation announced it’s Make a Splash initiative, which is designed to teach people about the importance of learning to swim and being safer around the water.   Since then, their Make a Splash partners have helped teach more than 3.8 million children how to swim.

The USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash initiative is a national child-focused water safety campaign, which aims to provide the opportunity for every child in America to learn to swim. Through Make a Splash, the USA Swimming Foundation partners with learn-to-swim providers and water safety advocates across the country to provide swimming lessons and educate children and their families on the importance of learning how to swim. The USA Swimming Foundation has invested millions of dollars to provide grants to qualified Local Partner learn-to-swim programs, to spread national awareness, and to bring together strategic partners to end drowning.  To date, more than 4 million children have received the lifesaving gift of swim lessons through the USA Swimming Foundation Make a Splash Local Partner network, comprised of more than 750 qualified lesson providers across the nation.
