ORLANDO, Florida (AP) — Ryan Lochte, an 11-time Olympic medalist, highlighted the closing night of the Arena Pro Swim Series on Saturday by winning the 200-meter individual medley while Michael McBroom, Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace and Joao de Lucca picked up their second gold medals.

Vanderpool-Wallace won her second gold and third medal of the meet in the 100 free in 55.38. The native of the Bahamas took the 50 free on Friday after getting silver in the 100 butterfly on Thursday.

Lochte, who has competed in three Olympics, was timed in 2-minutes, .52 seconds. He beat Conor Dwyer (2:01.31) and Cody Miller (2:02.72), a double winner in the breaststroke, taking the 100 on Thursday and the 200 on Friday.

Lochte was a 24-time All-American and seven-time NCAA champion at the University of Florida. He is the world record holder in both the 200 and 400 IM and his seven individual gold medals are second all-time in men’s swimming. He was the American and World Swimmer of the Year in 2010 and 2011.

McBroom, of The Woodlands, Texas, dominated the 1,500 freestyle, which also gave him a second gold. McBroom, who won the 400 free on Friday, finished in 15:16.82, 23 seconds clear of the field. He is sitting third in the world with a 15:13.48.

Brazilian de Lucca added the 100 free to the 200 free he captured on Thursday. His 49.34 put him seventh in the world rankings.

Canadian Dominique Bouchard had one of the best swims of the night, vaulting to No. 2 in the world by winning the 200 backstroke by more than 3 seconds in 2:08.99.

Caitlin Leverenz, of the University of California, moved up to third in the women’s 200 IM with a 2:11.40, holding off Melanie Margalis. Margalis, swimming in lane eight, touched in 2:11.68. Leverenz had posted the fifth-fastest time in winning the last Pro Swim stop in Austin in 2:11.84.
