history. James is an avid fishermen and
golfer in his free time.

James Guy has rapidly become on of the most well rounded talents in the world over the past few years. Guy got his first big break at the 2015 FINA World Championships where he took home world titles in the 200-meter and 400-meter freestyle events, taking down world record holders and Olympic gold medalists in his path to the top of the podium. In 2018, James won five medals, including four silver at the CommonWealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia and followed that up by winning three golds and a bronze at the European Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.

In the lead-up to the 2021 Olympic Games, James brought home six total medals at the European Championships in Budapest, Hungary, winning bronze in the 100-meter butterfly and five relay medals.

In 2021, James won three medals at the Tokyo Olympics. James helped set a world record in the mixed 4x100m medley relay, earning him and his team a gold medal. James went on to earn his second gold medal in men’s 4x200m freestyle relay, and a silver medal in the men’s 4×100 medley relay.

James is an avid fishermen and golfer in his free time.
